What began as a stylist–client relationship grew into a friendship, a shared dream and a beauty brand committed to professionalism, warmth and excellence.
Glam & Groom (G&G) was founded in August 2025 by Kekeletso Ramone and Mpho Radebe, two women whose shared passion for beauty and empowerment turned a dream into reality.
Their story began in May 2024, when Kekeletso became one of Mpho’s clients at a salon in Ruimsig. Mpho’s professionalism, creativity and ability to understand her clients’ needs left a lasting impression. During one of their chats, Mpho shared her dream of owning her own salon. As a businesswoman herself, Kekeletso encouraged her to start small and shared valuable entrepreneurial guidance.
A few months later, Mpho took a leap of faith, resigned and began renting a chair at a local salon while continuing to refine her craft. Over time, their relationship evolved from stylist–client to genuine friendship. Their conversations naturally turned into a shared dream: a salon combining professionalism, warmth and excellence.
That dream came to life in July 2025, when a beautiful space became available in Ruimsig. The two seized the opportunity, and Glam ‘n Groom was born.
